Old Barn, Mount Herbert

     Here's an old derelict barn located on Route 215 in Mount Herbert.  I took these photographs on December 3, 2007.   This was once the farmstead of the Wood family.

     Above/Below: West side of barn.  On the left note the low pitched roof - this would have been an original old barn with the later large, gambrel roofed, barn added to the front/south.

      Below:  One of many lime trees on the farmstead - thought to have been planted around 1873.
